Rationale
Technology did not start with the iPhone and certainly will not end there. Inventions such as the printing press, the steam engine, the camera, the computer, the Internet, fiber optics, and the smartphone have had an amazing impact on all cultures today, and the development of technology will continue to do so into the future. To understand how these have changed the face of civilization in the past is to better understand how technology could impact the future.
