The candidate will develop a research question/topic, narrowed to investigate a particular topic/issue about special education. The candidate will then create a detailed outline that includes a minimum of 6 main points and 3 subpoints under each main point. A minimum of 1 secondary source must be included in the candidate’s analysis. This assignment must be in the current APA format, including a title page and reference page.
Research Paper
The candidate will write a 1,500–1,750-word paper in the current APA format that focuses on the selected topic and discusses how the treatment of the topic has changed over time. The paper must include a title page, an abstract, and a reference page. A minimum of 5 secondary scholarly sources must be included. (MLO: A, C, D, E)
Research to Practice Presentation
The candidate will identify a topic of interest (e.g., a specific special education leadership or administration practice or policy) and develop a presentation for stakeholders.
