Rationale

As believers in Christ and servants of God to the body of Christ, Christians are ever working to come to an increasingly complete view of the Christian faith in its wholeness. Particularly its basis, its foundation, and the fact that God has come in space and time in Jesus Christ and revealed Himself to humanity to reconcile humanity to Him. From this reality all else springs, the saving moment of God Himself to humanity that the world may know Him that is life eternal. It is for this and related reasons that the person and work of Christ must have active attention, acknowledgment, understanding, and response.
