  4. Execute a weaning strategy utilizing advanced modalities of ventilation.
  5. Determine if advanced ventilatory support is helping by critically analyzing clinical data.

The student will demonstrate effective implementation of NAVA Ventilation, selecting appropriate settings for the patient based on physiologic data.

Modifying APRV Assignment

The student will demonstrate effective APRV management, including modification of APRV settings based on the physiologic data presented.

The topic is relevant to advanced ventilation, related to the content of the course, and also relevant to your career interests. Strong evidence of preliminary research is included. Provide three or more APA references for peer-reviewed sources in support of his/her paper.

Final Submission Assignment

The student will write a 3,750–5,000 word research-based paper in the current APA format that focuses on any Advanced Ventilatory Modality presented in the course. The paper must include at least 3 references in addition to the course textbook and the Bible.
