Rationale

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in Module/Week 1. (10 pts)
Class Introduction
A student is to submit a brief written introduction to the professor and fellow classmates via a Blackboard discussion thread. Specific elements described in the assignment are to be included. (10 pts)
Flight Course Student Expectations Quiz
This quiz consists of questions that were pulled from content within the FTA Student Handbook and the student video presentations attached in the reading and study section of module 1. This is an open book and open video exam that consists of 20 questions (multiple choice, true/false, and short answer). This exam is required and will provide you with some very important information for your success.

Each quiz will cover the Reading and Study material from your ground courses and/or flying. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes; contain 20 multiple-choice and true/false questions and at least 2 essay questions. Quizzes are timed and limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes. (70 pts each)
Video Presentation
The student will prepare and submit a presentation on a relevant course topic/procedure assigned in the presentation instructions located on Blackboard. (100 pts)
Progress Reports (16)
The student will submit, via Blackboard, a written summary of training completed during the week. This is to serve as an ongoing training journal, with biblical principles incorporated. (15 pts each)
FAA Knowledge Exam
The student will submit an official copy of their FAA Knowledge Test results (written test) displaying an official testing center seal. The score received on the submitted FAA Knowledge Test results is the grade that the student will receive for the assignment. (100 pts)
Certificate Submission
In order to pass this class the student must complete their Private Pilot training at an approved Flight Training Affiliate (FTA). Once complete, the student must submit a copy of the 141 Graduation Certificate, temporary FAA Private Pilot Certificate, or permanent FAA Private Pilot Certificate.
