Course Assignment

After reading the Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

The student will complete four Discussions. Each discussion will consist of a thread and at least two replies. The instructor is looking for substantial, thoughtful, and critical discussions.

The student will assume the role of a nutrition care provider to assess and evaluate three case studies related to various chronic diseases. After doing the assigned reading, the student will fully answer all case study questions provided and submit their responses. All assignments must be completed in question-and-answer format and incorporate citations and references in AMA format.

The student will research elderly nutrition programs in their community (federal, state, country, and private). Present a summary of 5 of the programs in your community. Finally, provide a critical analysis of the nutrition aspect of the program.
