Course Description
Study of retail merchandising concepts essential for buyers and managers within the creative industries. Emphasis is placed on buying procedures, assortment planning, inventory control, price, and profit analysis.

Rationale
To equip the individual in entry-level management positions with sound merchandising theory and the ability to translate that theory into the profit factors that govern the day-to-day operations of any retail store
