database for their box office. Each year, the department has three productions

by a unique ID number and is scheduled at a given date and time. There may be
more than one performance on a given date. For example, there may be a
matinee on 10/26/02 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by an evening performance
from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The college’s theatre has 300 seats, each identified by a
seat number (i.e., A1, A2, etc.). Patrons are automatically assigned a unique
patron ID number when they are first entered into the database and their first
name, last name, home address, daytime phone number, and e-mail address
are also stored. A patron attending a performance may reserve more than one
seat for that performance. A patron may also return to see another performance
of the same product and it is hoped that they will attend future productions as
well.
