Course Description
A comprehensive study of Revelation. Particular emphasis is given to understanding the correct method of interpreting the book. The verse-by-verse study will be supplemented with historical, doctrinal, and eschatological materials. The primary method of information delivery will be through presentations, and reading and writing assignments.

Rationale
The book of Revelation is the climax of all of God’s previous disclosures of Himself and His will to man. - Summarize the basic content of the book of Revelation.
- Interpret the symbolism of the book of Revelation.
- Articulate the conservative position about the date, audience, and authorship of the book.
- Understand the four, primary hermeneutical approaches to the book.
- Understand the three main eschatological models of the millennium.
- Defend the pre-millennial view regarding the nature and timing of the millennial reign of Christ.

The student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. The student will write four 2–3-page essays in the current Turabian format that focus on topics assigned by the instructor. Each essay must include at least 3 references in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible. Each essay will be submitted through Turnitin. (MLOs: A, B)

Each quiz will cover the Learn and presentations for each module: the week in which it is assigned. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a 90-minute time limit. Specific instructions will be included with each quiz. (MLOs: C, D, E, F)
